Complete Front and Rear Brake Upgrade

The Formula E-Moto Brake Set includes complete front and rear brake assemblies, giving you a matched upgrade for both ends of your electric motorbike. Built specifically for modern e-motos, this bundle combines motorcycle-style controls with Formula’s proven mountain bike caliper design.

Each brake pairs a motorcycle-style master cylinder and larger moto lever with an enhanced Formula Cura 4 four-piston caliper. That combination delivers braking power you can apply progressively, helping you manage traction through loose corners, tight trails, and technical descents. Modulation is the ability to adjust braking force through the lever, and it matters just as much as outright stopping power when the terrain gets unpredictable.

Forged and anodized aluminum master cylinders and calipers provide strength and durability. With matching controls and semimetallic pads included for both brakes, this set brings a cohesive feel to your front and rear brake setup.

Technical Details and Included Components

• Complete bundle: One front brake assembly and one rear brake assembly, including master cylinders, levers, hoses, calipers, and brake pads.
• Application: Designed specifically for the new generation of electric motorbikes.

• Calipers: Enhanced Formula Cura 4 four-piston calipers, combining mountain bike caliper engineering with e-moto-specific development.
• Construction: Forged and anodized aluminum master cylinders and calipers for strength and durability.
• Brake fluid: Designed for DOT 4 brake fluid. Do not use mineral oil in these assemblies.
• Included pads: Semimetallic brake pads for the front and rear calipers. Optional sintered brake pads are available separately.
• Installation: Complete assemblies, ready to mount on a compatible bike.
• Hose adjustment: Hose lengths can be shortened to suit your setup. Cutting a hose will likely require bleeding that brake again.
• Rotor compatibility: Intended for compatible bikes originally equipped with mineral oil brakes and standard 203 mm or 220 mm rotors.
• Mounting measurement: Check for 74.2 mm mounting-hole spacing at both brake mounts. Bolt spacing alone does not confirm complete fitment.

Bike Fitment

This set fits the following applications with compatible mounts, standard 203 mm or 220 mm rotors, and factory mineral oil brakes. The Formula assemblies replace the original brake systems completely and use DOT 4 fluid, not the original brakes’ mineral oil.

• Original Rawrr Mantis with 74 mm brake mounts: Front fitment only. The rear brake mounts on the opposite side of the bike, so the rear brake assembly in this set will not fit. Verify your front mount configuration, rotor compatibility, and caliper clearance before ordering.
• Other similar electric motorbikes with compatible mounts, 203 mm or 220 mm rotors, and factory mineral oil brake systems.
• Additional potential applications: SUPER73, Strike Cyclee, Electro & Co RTR, and other e-bikes with 74.2 mm mounting-hole spacing may be compatible. Verify both front and rear mount configurations, rotor dimensions, caliper clearance, and hose routing before ordering. Shims or appropriate adapters may need to be purchased separately for correct alignment.

There are plenty of possible applications, but spacers alone do not guarantee fitment. Before you buy, confirm exactly what your bike needs to install these brakes correctly.

• E Ride Pro SR.
• Talaria MX5.
• Altis Sigma.
• Original Rawrr Mantis rear brake mount, including models with 74 mm mounts, because the rear brake is positioned on the opposite side.
• Other newer bikes with factory DOT brake systems using 95 to 100 mm bolt-post spacing.

Installation and Brake Sensor Notes

Confirm fitment at both ends of your bike before installation. Proper caliper alignment keeps the rotor clear of the pads when released and supports even pad contact under braking. Some setups require separately purchased shims or adapters to achieve the correct fit.

Electronic brake sensors are not included. This set is not suitable if you need to retain the original brake sensors or factory brake light operation that depends on those sensors. This limitation also applies to many aftermarket brakes from TRP, Hayes, and most Magura setups.
